Job summary

Wellesley College in Wellington, NZ is seeking an energetic Certificated teacher for a full-time position in the Year 7–8 intermediate team, bringing humor, creativity and a positive energy to the classroom.

You will lead literacy and mathematics, support student wellbeing, and participate in extracurricular life, collaborating with a forward-thinking team of teachers.

NZ teacher registration and visa status (if applicable) are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Teacher Registration and be NZ-trained or have taught in NZ schools.
• Year 7–8 teaching experience is preferred.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive practices.

About the role

We are on the lookout for an innovative team player to join our dynamic intermediate team. This is a full-time teaching position for Year 7–8 students, where your sense of humour, creative flair, and positive energy will be just as important as your teaching expertise.
