Job summary

Oakura School, a full primary (Years 0–8) just 10 minutes from New Plymouth, is seeking a qualified teacher to join our Year 4–6 team from 2027. This full-time, permanent position starts Term 1, 2027.

The successful applicant will be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all learners, have strong pedagogy and curriculum knowledge, and enjoy collaborative planning with colleagues to support our school community.

Full-time, permanent teaching position, starting term 1, 2027.

We are looking for a qualified teacher to join our Year 4 to 6 team from 2027.

Our kura, just 10 minutes from New Plymouth, is afull primary school (Years 0 to 8) of 380 children. We are situated directly between the Kaitake Ranges and beautiful Oakura Beach.
