Whataroa School in the rural heart of South Westland invites applications for a passionate Year 0–4 teacher to join our small, close-knit team. You will teach across Year 0–4 in our two composite classrooms and contribute to our warm school community.

We seek someone who loves building strong relationships with children and whānau, is flexible, creative, and ready to be involved in wider school life. This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme.

Whataroa School is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 0–4 teacher to join our small, dedicated team.

Whataroa School is a small, welcoming rural school situated in the heart of South Westland. We are proud of our strong sense of community, supportive families and the close relationships we build with our students. Our school is made up of two composite classrooms, providing a unique opportunity to work closely with students across a range of ages and abilities.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, enjoys building strong relationships with children and whānau, and is excited by the opportunities that come with teaching in a small school environment.

The successful applicant will be teaching students in Years 0–4 and will join a supportive team where every teacher plays an important role in school life. We are looking for someone who is flexible, creative, positive and willing to get involved in the wider life of our school.

This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS). The eligible teacher recruited into this vacancy will receive annual payments accumulating to a maximum of $40,000 (before tax) after 5 years. SeeTeacher Bonding Schemefor more information.
