Job summary

Paparoa School invites applicants for a Certificated teacher to join our small, supportive rural school team in 2027. The role focuses on years 1–8 with a broad range of subjects and a strong emphasis on building relationships with tamariki and whānau.

We value flexible, collaborative teachers who can contribute to all aspects of life in a rural community and bring initiative and enthusiasm to learning. The position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme, offering up to $40,000 after 5 years.

Paparoa School is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and relationship-focused teacher to join our small, supportive rural school team in 2027.

This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS). The eligible teacher recruited into this vacancy will receive annual payments accumulating to a maximum of $40,000 (before tax) after 5 years. See Teacher Bonding Scheme for more information.
