Job summary

PlaceMakers is seeking a front-line Customer Service role at our Oamaru yard in Otago. You will assist customers in the timber yard and Drive Thru, load goods, process orders, and help keep the yard safe and efficient. A friendly, can-do attitude and attention to detail are essential.

We value a reliable, punctual team player with numeracy and computer skills, willing to learn and grow within the Fletcher Building Group. Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, permanent full-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in timber yard and Drive Thru area
• Load goods onto customer vehicles
• Process customer orders and transactions
• Monitor inventory and perform cycle counts
• Operate a forklift
• Pick and load orders accurately and efficiently
• Learn a wide range of building products
• Collaborate with the team to keep the yard safe and tidy
• Ensure fast, courteous service and sound advice
