Job summary

PlaceMakers New Lynn is seeking a Yard & Drive Thru Team Member to support our yard and drive-thru areas, delivering tailored product advice and loading vehicles. You will help create a standout customer experience for tradies and builders, while loading, stocking and coordinating deliveries.

The role is a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at PlaceMakers New Lynn. A strong safety mindset and forklift competency are essential, with NZ driver’s licence and

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse, timber yard, or building supplies environment.
Safety-focused and physically fit.
Forklift experience with F endorsement desirable.
Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence essential.
Knowledge of building products advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist and recommend products that suit customers' needs and preferences.
Pick, assemble, and process orders and transactions.
Load and unload customer vehicles, delivery vans, and supplier trucks.
Support dispatch and coordinate daily deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and stock replenishment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard; general housekeeping.
Operate a forklift.
