Job summary

Round Table Recruitment is recruiting for an AV Workplace Commissioning Engineer / Support Engineer in Auckland. The role involves commissioning and supporting a range of Audio-Visual systems, both remotely and onsite, including DSP setups and touch-panel programming.

You will read drawings, install control programs, and pre-stage systems while maintaining strong customer focus and delivering efficient services across diverse client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a commercial AV integrator in a support or commissioning role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in dealing with others.
• Understanding of Audio-Visual systems and programming languages.
• Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.
• Understand DSP best practices and setup/troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems.
• Understanding of Microsoft Teams Room and associated systems (Cisco, HP-Poly, Logi, Yealink, Neat).
• Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting pertaining to Audio-Visual and video conferencing.

Responsibilities

One of ANZ leading Audio-Visual integrators is looking to make a key hire to their senior engineering team. The company have a large presence across New Zealand and are working with enterprise corporate clients, government bodies and leading educational bodies.

The Role:

We are looking to hire an AV Workplace Commissioning Engineer / Support Engineer to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform customer support, troubleshooting, and remediation on a range of MTR & AV systems, remotely & onsite.
