Job summary

Office of Transformation and Improvement in Dunedin is seeking a Workday Specialist to support the Our People Pathway programme delivering a new HR Workday system across the University of Otago. You will provide functional Workday expertise, design solutions with business and technical teams, and help translate needs into practical configurations.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering Workday implementations or large digital transformations.
Strong functional knowledge of one or more Workday modules and related processes.
Experience facilitating workshops and guiding solution design with business and technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting testing, issue resolution and quality assurance in projects.

Responsibilities

Lead functional design across Workday modules and related processes.
Facilitate workshops to capture future-state processes and requirements.
Translate business needs into Workday configurations and documentation.
Review configurations and workflows to ensure alignment with programme objectives.
Provide expert guidance on Workday capabilities and best practices.
Support data migration, testing, and QA throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders, Digital Services and partners to enable delivery and change readiness.
