Job summary

EmployMe Solutions – Christchurch, South Island is seeking a skilled WOF Technician to join their Christchurch team. You’ll carry out NZTA-compliant WoF inspections and servicing with pride in quality workmanship.

Strong diagnostic ability, attention to detail and excellent customer communication are essential. Full NZ Driver Licence and current WOF Inspector Authority required. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a supportive workshop.

Qualifications

  • Holds a current WOF Inspector Authority.
  • Solid automotive mechanical experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out WoF inspections to NZTA standards.
  • Identify faults and safety issues.
  • Carry out servicing and general mechanical repairs as required.
  • Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and service records.
  • Communicate with customers professionally.
  • Work as part of a team to keep the workshop running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

No two days need to look exactly the same. Your role will include:

  • Carrying out WoF inspections to the required NZTA standards

  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Holds a full NZ Driver Licence
