Job summary

Amisfield in Central Otago, New Zealand, invites a passionate Cellar Door Host to join a Michelin-starred team. You’ll guide visitors through tastings, share our story, and transform guests into Amisfield ambassadors.

You will receive wine and sales training, learn about winemaking and viticulture, and help drive wine sales while building lasting customer relationships. This full-time role offers minimum 30 hours per week with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in hospitality, retail, wine or sales.
• Strong wine knowledge and interest in sharing stories with guests.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and host guests with engaging wine tastings.
• Lead cellar door experiences, masterclasses and private tastings.
• Promote and grow wine club memberships and sales.
• Manage bookings and guest enquiries to ensure a seamless experience.
• Support direct-to-consumer wine sales including order processing and dispatch.
