Job summary

NZCL is seeking part-time Support Workers in Te Awamutu to assist people in their homes and communities. This role offers 6 guaranteed hours per week, during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, with potential travel to Kihikihi or Ohapou.

You will help individuals lead meaningful lives by joining activities like swimming, sports events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping, and support their goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Full driver''s license and access to a vehicle.
• Healthcare experience preferred, including youth work.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling lives.
• Plan and participate in activities such as swimming, events, arts and crafts, movies, shopping.
• Provide safe, respectful assistance and build confidence and skills.
• Travel to local communities as required (e.g., Kihikihi or Ohaupo).

We are looking for part time Support Workers in Te Awamutu for our Whānau Support Services. This part time role offers 6 guaranteed hours of work per week, within standard business hours, between Monday and Friday. Travel toKihikihi or Ohapou may be required.
