Job summary

Fulton Hogan on the West Coast is seeking an experienced Operator to support the IDC team, delivering safe and reliable infrastructure and maintenance work across the region. The role is hands-on and requires operating plant and equipment, performing pre-start checks, and supporting day-to-day site activities.

You will work with crews across the West Coast, uphold high safety standards, and bring a reliable, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant and machinery in a maintenance-based role.
• Class 2 Licence and WTR endorsements.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and doing the job right.
• Reliable, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently across IDC contract works.
• Support day-to-day maintenance, construction, and operational activities on West Coast sites.
• Complete pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of plant.
• Collaborate with site crews to deliver work on time and to specification.
• Identify hazards and follow site controls to support safety culture.
