Job summary

Fulton Hogan on the West Coast IDC contract is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Cyclic TMO/Labourer to join the team. This hands-on role supports traffic management activities and general labouring across the network to keep crews, road users, and the public safe.

Based in Greymouth, the full-time position requires a current TMO qualification and a valid full Class 1 driving licence. The role emphasizes health, safety, teamwork, and flexibility to handle changing tasks.

Qualifications

• Current TMO qualification or relevant traffic management certification.
• Full Class 1 driver licence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and teamwork.
• Flexibility to turn your hand to different tasks as the day changes.
• Experience in temporary traffic management and general labouring or similar.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, monitor, and pack down temporary traffic management sites in line with plans and safety requirements.
• Support cyclic maintenance and general labouring tasks across the contract.
• Carry out daily checks of equipment, signs, and site setups for safety and compliance.
• Work closely with site crews and supervisors to keep jobs running smoothly, safely, and on time.
• Follow all health, safety, and wellbeing requirements and speak up when something doesn't look right.
