Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Operator to join our West Coast IDC team to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of infrastructure maintenance across the region. This hands-on role supports day-to-day operations, working with crews to maintain equipment and complete tasks to high safety standards.

You will operate plant and machinery across IDC works, conduct pre-start checks, and contribute to a strong safety culture while delivering quality work on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant and machinery in a maintenance-based role.
• Class 2 Licence with WTR endorsements.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on the West Coast.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently across IDC contract works.
• Support day-to-day maintenance, construction, and operational activities on sites across the West Coast.
• Complete pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of plant and equipment.
• Work closely with site crews and supervisors to deliver work on time, to specification, and to a high safety standard.
• Identify hazards, follow site controls, and contribute to a strong safety and wellbeing culture.
