Job summary

Arvida is seeking a Wellness Partner in Bethlehem to enrich residents' lives through personal care and supportive activities. You will work in partnership with residents, encouraging independence in eating, movement, and daily routines.

The role requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to work with a caring team, including weekend and night shifts as needed, with ongoing training and mentorship provided.

Qualifications

• NZ Residents/Citizens prioritized for NZ roles.
• NZQF Level 2/3 qualification or at least one year of relevant experience.
• Evidence of English test required if from overseas.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and encourage resident-led decision making.
• Observe, document, and communicate health conditions and changes.
• Participate in ongoing training and teamwork with care staff.

Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.

We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.

Arvida Level 1 to Level 3

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• EvidenceofEnglish test is required if from overseas

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 1 to Level 3)
$23.95 to $29.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years’ experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 4)
$28.50 to $31.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
