Job summary

Arvida in Christchurch, NZ, is seeking Wellness Partners to support residents with personal care, encourage independence, and participate in activities, while promoting resident-led decisions in eating, movement, and engagement.

You should have aged care experience, be available for rosters including weekends and nights, and bring strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ongoing training and mentorship are provided in a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Interview NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority.
• NZQF Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent experience.
• English test required if from overseas.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care needs and encourage resident-led decisions in eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.
• Observe, document health conditions, and communicate with the care team.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.

Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.

Arvida Level 1 to Level 3

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least two years'of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• Evidence ofEnglish test is required if from overseas

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 1 to Level 3) $23.95 to $30.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Arvida Level 3 to Level 4

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years’ experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• Evidence ofEnglish test is required if from overseas

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 3 to Level 4) $28.25 to $32.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
