Job summary

Arvida Group Limited in Auckland is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead clinical teams in our resident‑led aged care communities. You will assess, plan, and deliver care, coordinate with families, and uphold compassionate, person‑centred service.

You will supervise others, ensure accurate documentation and treatments, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while aligning with our values of Being There, In it Together, Look for a Way.

Qualifications

• NZQA level 7 qualification (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma).
• A current practicing certificate.
• Flexibility to pick up different shifts.
• Team leadership skills.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Good customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills.
• Alignment with our values and purpose.
• Experience in Palliative Care, Dementia, and InterRAI is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented and monitored.

At Arvida, our model of care is underpinned by our resident-led approach and Attitude of Living Well. Our Registered Nurses lead clinical excellence through assessments, planning, and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practices and standards

You will be responsible for leading, supervising, and guiding other members of the team, and ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored. Each day you will be providing a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
