Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Rental Operations Agent at Wellington Airport, New Zealand, for a part-time role (32 hours per week). You will handle both front- and back-of-house tasks, including rentals, contracts and bookings, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, driving, parking, and cleaning vehicles to be ready for customers. Full training is provided, with a supportive, inclusive culture and a clear opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality or customer service is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems (training provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter, market products and services, process rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, drive and park vehicles, and clean interiors/exteriors in the wash bay.
