Job summary

Avis Budget Group at Nelson Airport is seeking a Rental Operations Agent for a part-time, permanent role. You will be on the front and back of house, engaging with customers, promoting services, and processing rental transactions, contracts and bookings.

You will also inspect vehicles for damage, drive and park them, and perform interior and exterior cleaning in the wash bay. Full training, uniform and parking are provided, along with wellbeing benefits and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with training provided.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and handle rentals, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues.
• Drive, park and clean vehicles in the wash bay.
• Learn and operate computer systems to input rental information.
