Qube Ports NZ in Dunedin Port is seeking a skilled Welder Engineer to perform welding, fabrication and repairs on heavy machinery used in port operations. You will work hands-on with loaders, material handlers and terminal tractors, ensuring safety and reliability.

This full-time, Mon-Fri role runs 7am–4pm, offers starting pay of $44.80 per hour with penalties, provides tooling, PPE and free health insurance, and opportunities for overtime; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualificações

• NZQA Level 4 trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication or overseas equivalent.
• Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilledWelder Engineerfor our Dunedin port operation. In this hands‑on role, you'll carry out fabrication, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of heavy off‑road machinery including loaders, material handlers, and terminal tractors.

Status:

Full-time, Mon-Fri working 7am to 4pm

Who we're after:
