Job summary

WSP Auckland is seeking a Team Leader - Water to lead and develop a team of water professionals, delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for clients while contributing strongly to technical delivery across water infrastructure projects.

Candidate will balance project delivery with people leadership, grow capability, support wellbeing, manage resourcing, and maintain strong commercial, technical and client-centric focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Industry recognised professional qualification or working towards this preferred.
• 7–10 years of professional experience as a Designer and/or Project Manager.
• Proven people leadership capability with the ability to coach, develop and support high-performing teams.
• Strong technical delivery and assurance experience across water infrastructure projects.
• Commercial acumen, client focus, and ability to contribute to project financial health, resourcing and utilisation.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Current, clean Driver Licence.
