Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Certified Water Installer to join a leading civil contractor delivering essential water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects across Wellington. You will lead crews on-site, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and quality across the works.

Working with Supervisors and Project Teams, you will install and maintain water infrastructure assets, provide technical leadership on site, and support project delivery across the region.

Qualificações

• Certified Water Installer Level 4 is required.
• Experience in water infrastructure construction.
• Ability to read plans, specifications and QA requirements.
• Valid NZ Driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Install potable water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure.
• Lead and support small crews to ensure work is completed safely & efficiently.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
• Order materials and organise plant requirements.
• Complete QA documentation, daily reports, and as-built records.
• Ensure compliance to relevant New Zealand standards.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.

We are seeking an experienced Certified Water Installer to join a leading civil contractor delivering essential water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects across the Wellington region.

You'll play a key role on-site, leading crews, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

About The Role

Working alongside Supervisors and Project Teams, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of water infrastructure assets while providing technical expertise and leadership on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install potable water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Lead and support small crews to ensure work is completed safely & efficiently.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
• Order materials and organise plant requirements.
• Complete QA documentation, daily reports, and as-built records.
• Ensure compliance to relevant New Zealand standards.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.

What We're Looking For

• Certified Water Installer (Level 4) qualification.
• Proven experience in water infrastructure construction.
• Strong understanding of water, wastewater, and stormwater networks.
• Experience leading crews or working in a Leading Hand or Foreperson capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and QA requirements.
• Full Class 1 Driver License.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and health and safety best practices.

Desirable

• WTR endorsements.
• Class 2 License or higher.
• Experience operating civil construction plant and equipment.
• Previous experience working on Wellington water infrastructure projects.
