Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Divisional Manager – Water to lead the Water Division within a major Hawke’s Bay infrastructure contractor.

You will oversee delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater works, manage budgets and tenders, build council relationships, and drive safety, quality and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in water, civil construction or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting and tenders.
• Ability to build relationships with councils and asset owners.
• Knowledge of NZS 3910 and water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Water Division and oversee delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects and maintenance.
• Manage operational and commercial performance including budgets, forecasting, contracts, tenders and business development.
• Maintain strong relationships with council stakeholders and build a robust forward pipeline of work.
• Administer contracts under NZS3910 standards and manage operational risks and subcontractor performance.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols on every job site.
