Job summary

HEGEN PTE. LTD. is seeking an Associate, Warehousing & Fulfilment to support efficient distribution of breastfeeding products. The role involves inventory control, order fulfilment and routine warehouse tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Contract basis with potential extension or transition to permanent employment based on performance. Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred for this position in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic computer skills.
• Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work 5.5 days, including Saturdays and short-notice start dates.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, packing, sorting, and labeling of goods accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out product customization and personalization per operational requirements.
• Prepare goods for delivery and shipment in a timely manner.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for accuracy and condition.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety in warehouse environment.
• Support day-to-day operations and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate, Warehousing & Fulfilment to support the seamless distribution of our innovative breastfeeding products. As an integral part of our growing operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse and logistics operations, from inventory management to order fulfilment. This opportunity is offered on a contract basis, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on individual performance, business needs and organisational requirements. Candidates who are available to commence immediately or at short notice will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform picking, packing, sorting, and labelling of goods accurately and efficiently

• Prepare goods for delivery and shipment in a timely manner

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods to ensure accuracy and proper condition

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety compliance within the warehouse environment

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations and assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations will be an advantage.

• Basic proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability in completing assigned duties.

• Adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

• Proficient in conversational English and an additional language

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

• Able to commit to 5.5-day work week (Weekdays: 8.30am to 5.30pm. Saturdays: 10.30am to 2.30pm)
