Job summary

Service Foods seeks an experienced Team Leader to support our Wellington warehouse operations servicing national customers. You will lead a committed team, ensure safety, and drive performance across daily operations.

In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee pick/pack processes, coordinate rosters, and provide relief driving where needed. A Class 2 licence and forklift experience are preferred to uphold our high service standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or Team Leader experience required.
• Class 2 driver’s licence preferred.
• Forklift licence and practical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills essential.
• Ability to train, coach, and communicate with diverse teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to H&S practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing day-to-day warehouse operations
• Oversee staff performance and address issues as needed
• Pick, pack, check, and wrap national orders
• Provide relief driving support when needed (Class 2 preferred)
• Support Inwards Goods, receipting, credits, and stock corrections
• Provide operational cover for Team Supervisor during leave
• Maintain high standards of quality and food safety
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture
• Support roster planning and task allocation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workplace
• Conduct training to upskill team members
