Job summary

Capital Racking limited in Hamilton is seeking a hands-on warehouse leader to take ownership of daily operations. You’ll lead a small team, work on the floor with your crew, and ensure tasks run smoothly from prestart to dispatch.

You’ll own health and safety on the floor, oversee picking and packing, assemble pallet racking, manage goods flow, keep inventory accurate, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid warehouse experience with a proven leadership track record.
• The kind of person who sets the standard — others follow because you earn it.
• Sharp eye for detail and a no-shortcuts approach to accuracy and safety.
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Physically capable and comfortable with manual handling.

Responsibilities

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead a small warehouse team and be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Hamilton operation. This is a hands‑on leadership position — you're on the tools with your crew, not watching from the sidelines.

Daily responsibilities include:

Running prestarts and owning health & safety on the floor

Picking and packing customer orders accurately and on time

Assembling pallet racking and shelving for dispatch

Managing inwards and outwards goods

Keeping inventory accurate and stock well‑organised

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
