Placements24 is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor for a Queenstown FMCG facility. You will oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and safety, while modelling strong team leadership.

You will train and motivate staff, maintain inventory integrity, conduct regular stock takes, and ensure compliance with SOPs and health and safety regulations. A qualification in Logistics is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control principles.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) supply chain, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily operations at their facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supervising a team of warehouse staff. You will be responsible for overseeing receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations within the FMCG sector, committed to maintaining a high-performing and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatch operations for FMCG products in Queenstown.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to procedures and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
