Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor for a Queenstown FMCG facility. You will oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and safety, while modelling strong team leadership.

You will train and motivate staff, maintain inventory integrity, conduct regular stock takes, and ensure compliance with SOPs and health and safety regulations. A qualification in Logistics is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control principles.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of warehouse staff to meet performance standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
• Implement and enforce SOPs to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
