Job summary

SF Express NZ in Auckland is seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our Operations team. You will manage day-to-day inbound and outbound parcel and freight operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across receiving, sorting, picking and dispatching.

You will coordinate daily warehouse activities, monitor performance, carry out stock management, and complete shipment documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities with multitasking capability.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills; effective cross-team collaboration.
• Clear written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Full NZ Class 1 driver's licence preferred; Mandarin is a plus.

As our New Zealand operation continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Warehouse Specialist to join our Operations team in Auckland.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid warehouse experience who enjoys being close to the operation, taking ownership, solving problems and working with a team to improve the way things are done.

What you'll be doing

Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound parcel and freight operations, including receiving, sorting, scanning, picking and dispatching shipments accurately and efficiently.

Coordinate daily warehouse activities and help ensure workflows, priorities and resources are well planned to meet operational requirements.

Monitor daily and shift performance, including productivity, labour utilisation, shipment volumes and variances, and identify and elevate operational issues where required.

Carry out stock management, including cycle counts, stock checks and inventory reconciliation, ensuring warehouse records remain accurate.

Complete warehouse administration, including shipment documentation, system updates and data entry.

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, processes and service quality, and support the implementation of new processes and initiatives.

Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised warehouse, ensuring all activities comply with SF Express H&S, security, quality and operational requirements.

Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and assist with any required corrective actions.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is hands‑on, organised and solutions‑focused, with the confidence to take ownership of warehouse operations.

You’ll ideally have:

• 3+ years' warehouse experience, with experience in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
• Good interpersonal and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence is preferred.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred but not essential.
