Placements24 is looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate in Queenstown (Eastern Cape). You will receive, pick, pack, and ship orders, maintain stock, and uphold safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

This role suits reliable individuals with basic inventory understanding, physical stamina to lift up to 25kg, and a willingness to learn. On-the-job training is provided to develop your skills and advance in logistics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25kg, standing for extended periods, and bending.
• Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and understand labels, instructions, and order forms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Awareness of workplace safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
• Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure proper labeling of packages.
• Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse, maintaining proper placement and rotation.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained and certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
