Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Graduate Operations Assistant to join our logistics team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, order processing, and dispatch coordination while learning the intricacies of operations management.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to Queenstown, Eastern Cape.
• Experience with inventory management systems or logistics software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Support inventory control processes, including stocktaking and record-keeping.
• Coordinate order processing and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
• Liaise with drivers and transport providers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and customer inquiries related to logistics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Support the implementation of operational improvements and new initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
