Job summary

C3 Limited in Tauranga, New Zealand, is seeking a Warehouse Operator for our timber packing operations. You will operate a 16-tonne forklift and carry out general warehouse tasks, including transfer of product from road trucks, warehousing activities, vaning and devanning containers.

The roster runs Monday to Saturday with typical hours 0500–1700, and occasional evening work during peak periods. Applicants must have a full Class 1 licence and forklift endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating large forklifts (16-tonne) and handling timber/packaging materials.
• Commitment to health and safety and team wellbeing.
• Forklift endorsements (F/OSH) preferred; Class 1 licence preferred.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator forour timber packing operations. C3 manage packing operations at Sulphur Pointand The Mount where we pack and devan export and import containers for a rangeof customers, handling a wide range of products including timber and cardboardpackaging.

Our timber packing operation covers Monday toSaturday work dependent on volumes. The predominant roster pattern is 0500am to1700pm however evening work can be required during peak periods. Flexibilitywith availability is a prerequisite as C3 operate multiple warehouses each withdifferent roster patterns and movement between warehouses is sometimesrequired.

We are looking for an experienced operator to drive our16-tonne forklift, as well as perform general warehouse tasks. The mainfunctions are transfer of product from road trucks, warehousing activities,vanning and devanning containers.

The staff we require will need to fit in well withour existing motivated and dedicated teams. Good time management skills areessential, and applicants need to be motivated and responsive due to a need tomeet often changing customer requirements, shipping schedules and productiondeadlines.

Requirements for the position are:

• Must be experienced operating large forklifts
• Commitment to the Health and Safety of you andyour team
• F and OSH forklift endorsements preferred
• Full Class 1 licence preferred
• Administration skills would be advantageous butnot essential
