C3 is seeking entry level staff to help stow and secure containers on board vessels at the Port of Tauranga. The role involves manual labour, working on wharves and vessels, and requires flexibility to cover a 24/7 shift pattern.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, team players with good communication and a positive attitude. A Full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be legally allowed to work in NZ with a valid visa or citizenship.

Formación

In this role you are responsible for the safe andaccurate stowage of container cargo on board vessels at the container terminal.We require motivated, energetic staff who are safety conscious to join ourteam.

For this position you need to be physically fit asthe primary duties involve manual labour, working on the wharves and on-boardvessels to assist with loading and securing containers by lashing and unlashingcontainers on vessel decks.

Working outside in all weathers is also part of thejob, so you need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment as well asconstantly working at heights.

As vessels can arrive at any time of the day ornight flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 24/7 week is arequirement. On offer is permanent employment with competitive pay rates and aguaranteed minimum number of hours.
