Job summary

Jigsaw Staffing Limited is urgently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative/Admin for a small local client in Tauranga. This role blends hands-on warehouse tasks with light admin, including picking, packing, forklift operation, and data entry in the stock system.

You’ll work in a small team, maintain accurate records, process orders, manage stock locations and assist with freight bookings. A forklift licence, NZ driver licence and NZ working rights are required; experience in WMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Some warehouse, stores or logistics experience.
• Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or stock system would be an advantage.
• Good IT Skills.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and good work ethic.
• A reliable team player who is happy to get stuck in.
• A forklift licence.
• A full New Zealand driver licence.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Receipting inbound stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Processing customer orders and dispatches in the system.
• Updating stock locations and movements, and helping with cycle counts.
• Preparing dispatch paperwork and assisting with freight bookings.
• Keeping warehouse records and data accurate and up to date.
• General warehouse administration as required.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately.
• Loading and unloading trucks and operating a forklift.
• Receiving deliveries and putting stock away.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

Our client, a well-established local business, is looking for a reliable, organised Warehouse Operative/Admin to join their small warehouse team.

This is a great all-round role for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse work and computer-based administration. You'll spend part of your day picking and packing orders and driving a forklift, and part of it entering stock into the system, processing orders and keeping records accurate.
