Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking experienced Storepeople for long‑term opportunities based in Avondale and Mt Wellington. These hands‑on roles cover general stores and warehouse duties including receipting, dispatch, stock movement, order picking and forklift operation.

There is potential for the assignments to become permanent for the right people. For the Mt Wellington position, you will also need a full driver licence and be confident driving a manual vehicle.

Qualifications

• Previous Storeperson or warehouse experience.
• Current forklift licence.
• Good stock handling and inventory skills.
• Comfortable with general computer and warehouse systems.
• Mt Wellington role requires full driver licence and manual driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and dispatching goods.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Operating a forklift.
• Stock movement and inventory control.
• Preparing goods for dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate stock records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• General stores and warehouse duties as required.
