Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a full-time Forklift Driver in Waikato. You will operate forklifts to load, unload and stack items in warehouses, while moving goods to assigned zones within distribution centres and manufacturing sites.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of industry experience, a Class 1 licence, and a Forklift Operator Certificate, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork orientation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industry work experience.
• Hold a Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Class 1 or equivalent driving licence with clean record.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety guidelines.
• Physically fit with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift controls to load, unload and stack items in warehouses.
• Navigate with rall-based or automated forklifts in tight spaces.
• Move merchandise to designated storage zones in distribution centers.
• Verify inventory locations for efficient retrieval and order fulfillment.
• Monitor equipment using gauges and digital systems; perform routine inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance on forklifts as needed.
• Transport bulk goods and packaged items using a forklift.
