Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd, based at Waterloo Park, Christchurch, is seeking a Distribution Store Person to receive, store and dispatch products with precision, ensuring supply chain efficiency. In this role you will pick, pack and dispatch orders, manage inbound stock and support cycle counts in a busy warehouse. A forklift licence is preferred and a strong attention to detail is essential. Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Hold a current forklift licence or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fast learner with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to daily productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner.
• Handle inbound inventory, including receiving, quality checking, and stock put-away.
• Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Complete required documentation and system updates as needed.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed daily output targets.
