Job summary

Palmerston North Goodwin Group is seeking two reliable Warehouse Assistants to join our busy Palmerston North operation. This hands-on role combines warehouse and retail stock duties within a fast-paced environment.

You'll be picking, packing, despatching orders, loading/unloading deliveries, and maintaining inventory with safety and accuracy. A flexible roster including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to technology.
• Clear drug and criminal history background.
• Provide sound references when requested.
• Health and safety conscious in all tasks.
• Able to work rostered shifts including evenings/weekends.
• Experience in retail/warehousing is preferred but not required.
• NZ Class 1 license (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and despatching orders.
• Working in chillers and frozen food environment.
• Filling and labelling containers.
• Organising inventory to assigned locations.
• Conducting inventory stock checks.
• Receiving, unloading and checking goods against invoices.
• Unloading vehicles and handling contents.
• Operating warehouse computers to locate stock.
• Using equipment to move goods in warehouse areas.
