Palmerston North Goodwin Group is seeking two Warehouse Assistants to join our busy Palmerston North operation. You will be responsible for picking, packing and despatching orders in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves working in chillers and frozen environments, loading and unloading goods, stock checks and general warehousing duties. Reliability, safety practices and the ability to work rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends, are valued.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Able to adapt and learn, comfortable using technology.
• Drug and criminal history-free.
• Able to provide solid references.
• Health & safety conscious.
• Willing to work rostered shifts, including evenings/weekends.
• Previous warehousing experience is helpful but not required.
• Class one NZ or overseas driving license.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and despatching orders.
• Working in chillers and frozen food environments.
• Filling and labelling containers.
• Organising inventory to allocated locations.
• Conducting inventory stock checks.
• General warehousing duties as required.
• Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies with invoices.
• Unloading vehicles and handling contents.
• Using computers to locate items in stock.
• Operating equipment to move goods at height.
