Job summary

Gilmours Hamilton is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the Chilled, Frozen and Butchery team and operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. You will ensure stock is replenished, scanned, and moved efficiently in a busy environment.

The role requires physical fitness, a valid Forklift OSH certificate with Reach experience, and a reliable attendance record. A positive team player who can work across shifts is ideal.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness required; active role on your feet, lifting and moving product.
• Current Forklift OSH certificate with Reach truck experience essential.
• Reliable attendance and work history; own transport recommended.

Responsibilities

• Replenish stock in Chilled, Frozen and Butchery display and storage areas.
• Operate Reach truck and Counterbalance forklifts to move and organize stock.
• Use handheld RF scanners to track inventory.
• Lift and move stock, including heavy items (25kg+).
• Work in chillers, freezers and ambient areas; adapt to tasks as needed.

We're looking for a WarehouseAssistant to join our Chilled, Frozen and Butchery department, keepingour shelves full and stock moving, and operating Reach and Counterbalanceforklift. If you're reliable, physically fit, and know your way around aforklift, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Replenishingstock in our Chilled, Frozen and Butchery display and storage areas
• OperatingReach truck and Counterbalance forklifts to move and organise stock
• Usinghandheld RF scanners to track and manage inventory
• Liftingand moving stock, including heavy items (25kg+)
• Workingin cold environments (chillers and freezers) as well as ambient areas
• Adaptingto different tasks and departments as the day requires

Hours

Full time early starts(6am) and could be working either Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.Exact hours and days to be confirmed at interview and dependant on thesuccessful applicant.
