This role suits someone with at least one year tiling experience, comfortable with weekend shifts as part of a small crew, and keen to assist with broader renovation tasks while upholding health and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a wall and floor tiler.
• Solid knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, grouts and tools.
• Willingness to work weekends as part of a small team.
• Experience in other renovation work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, fill holes and cracks, and clean surfaces.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and obstacles.
• Apply adhesives, grout and sealants for a high-quality finish.
• Apply waterproofing systems and maintain tile surfaces.
• Assist with renovation tasks such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and general repair work.
• Follow health and safety procedures on all sites.
