Job summary

Clear Realm Creation Limited is seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler for our Dunedin-based renovation and property services team. The role includes tiling walls and floors, removing old tiles, applying adhesives, grout and sealants, and waterproofing systems.

You may assist with plastering, painting, carpentry, and general repairs as workload requires. Guaran­teed 30 hours/week and weekend work as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a wall and floor tiler.
• Experience in other renovation work (plastering, painting, basic carpentry or plumbing) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all tiling tasks in the casting yard? (This is from unrelated job; skip)
• Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
• Prepare surface and lay wall and floor tiles with accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and obstacles.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Applying waterproofing systems
• Inspect, repair, and maintain existing tile surfaces.
• Assist with renovation tasks when required.
• Follow health and safety procedures on all sites.
