Job summary

Savor Group in Auckland’s Viaduct district seeks an experienced waiter to join one of its busiest bars. You will bring at least two years of waiter or bartender experience, with a solid knowledge of food and beverage and a knack for upselling.

Nights, weekends and public holidays are essential, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused team environment. In this role you’ll deliver exceptional dining experiences, recommend dishes and drinks, and work closely with front and back of house

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as waiter or bartender in a comparable venue.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate and upsell food and beverage offerings.
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional dining experiences.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests.
• Offer recommendations, take orders, and serve.
• Ensure product offerings and service are of exceptional quality.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Collaborate with front of house and back of house and maintain open communication.

The Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced Waiter. You will have at least two years minimum experience as a waiter or bartender in a comparable venue, a good knowledge of food and beverage would be a huge advantage, the ability to communicate and up-sell food and beverage offerings, a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional dining experiences, and the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.

In This Role You Will Be Responsible For

• Delivering exceptional dining experiences to all of our guests.
• Offering recommendations, taking food and beverage orders, and serving.
• Ensure all product offerings and service are of exceptional quality .
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of of food and beverage offerings.
• Working cohesively with both front of house and back of house and ensuring communication is open.
• Being an ambassador for your venue and for Savor.
