Milestone Limited T/A Music Star in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated violin teacher to join our growing team. You will deliver high-quality violin lessons to students of varying levels, develop teaching plans, and prepare materials tailored to each learner.

This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field, weekend availability, and a patient, professional approach with children and youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music or relevant field.
• Experience teaching violin is preferred.
• Experience preparing students for competitions is an advantage.
• Patient, professional, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality violin instruction to students of varying levels.
• Teach music theory and foster students’ confidence in learning violin.
• Develop and adjust individual and group teaching plans.
• Prepare appropriate teaching materials tailored to students’ needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and solutions.
• Prepare students for competitions and public performances.
• Organise and participate in regular student concerts and events.
