Éire Ed is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school Music Department in Auckland. You’ll guide students from beginner to senior levels, sharing expertise in music technology, composition, production, mixing, recording, and sound design using industry-standard software and tools.

Beyond classroom teaching, you’ll help develop performance and musicianship skills and lead co-curricular contemporary bands, supporting rehearsals to live performances.

Qualifications

• Current NZ teacher registration required.
• Full working rights in NZ required.

Éire Ed is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school Music Department. You’ll have the opportunity to guide students from beginner level through to senior years, sharing your expertise in music technology, composition, production, mixing, recording, and sound design using industry-standard software and tools.
In addition to classroom teaching, you’ll help develop students’ performance and musicianship skills and lead co-curricular contemporary bands, supporting them from rehearsal to live performance. The role is ideal for an energetic educator who can inspire creativity, excellence, and a love of music in a vibrant school environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative faculty, mentor students, and bring real-world music experience into the classroom while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking teaching community.
