Job summary

Summerset Holdings is seeking a Village Assistant for our Kelvin Grove Village to ensure resident safety and respond to medical or emergency incidents. You will be the first point of contact for village matters, providing a calm, reassuring presence and supporting residents on site.

This fixed-term, part-time role runs on a Friday to Sunday roster (8.30am–5.00pm) through early 2028, with duties spanning first response, cleaning, administration, and liaison with emergency services.

Qualifications

• Calm, confident presence for village duties.
• Strong communication in high-pressure situations.
• Observant with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, professional first response to medical emergencies.
• Clean facilities and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle administrative duties (paperwork, scheduling, data entry).
• Liaise with emergency services when needed.
• Monitor village security and respond to unusual activity.
• Maintain communication with the Village Manager.
