Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive Purina Pro Plan nutrition initiatives across New Zealand’s North Island. You will partner with veterinary professionals to expand reach, win new business, and strengthen existing relationships while delivering training and educational programs for better pet health outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have a proven sales track record, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence decisions through value-led conversations.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a sales or business development role.
• Strong track record of growing customer partnerships and winning new business.
• Strong commercial acumen; ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
• Confidence presenting, educating, and influencing customers through training and value-led conversations.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Purina Pro Plan portfolio across New Zealand’s North Island by partnering with veterinary professionals.
• Win new business and strengthen relationships across the territory; deliver training and educational programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Veterinary teams to drive growth and customer success; monitor performance and plan actions.
• Travel regularly across North Island (approx. three nights away per month) and visit veterinary clinics to build relationships and support field customers.
• Attend occasional sales meetings and industry events to share outcomes and learnings.
