Job summary

Virbac NZ is seeking an experienced Nutrition Commercial Manager to drive the full pet nutrition commercial strategy across New Zealand. You will partner with local leadership, global marketing and New Business teams to expand the Nutrition category and position Virbac as a trusted partner in this segment.

In this senior commercial role you will balance volume, pricing and marketing investment, lead go-to-market strategies, salesforce education and robust sales forecasting to achieve growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Animal Health, Animal Science or Veterinary Medicine).
• 5+ years’ experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development within Pet Nutrition, Animal Health or Veterinary Medicine.
• Deep digital marketing expertise, with data-driven engagement and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brand Strategy & Go-To-Market for Pet Nutrition to maximise market penetration.
• Analyse marketplace trends and engage with veterinarians for evidence-based positioning.
• Direct short- and long-term sales forecasting and manage budgets, P&L and media contracts.
• Partner with digital marketing to enhance marketing platforms and B2B workflows.
• Drive salesforce education and field support to boost in-clinic pull-through and sell-out.
