Job summary

RealNZ is seeking a Host for the summer season, based mainly on the TSS Earnslaw and Spirit of Queenstown. You’ll welcome guests, serve in the cafe/bar and restaurant, assist with boarding, and support events while maintaining vessel presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of food and beverage experience, strong guest-facing skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Maritime experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of food and beverage experience.
• Bar and barista skills preferred.
• Confident host who engages guests with high service standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage service to guests onboard, in café/bar and restaurant areas.
• Support daily vessel operations and presentation of the vessels.
• Assist with guest onboarding, events, and cleaning as required.
• Contribute to guest service, order delivery, and vessel presentation.
