Job summary

Bob Owens Retirement Village in Betlehem, Tauranga is seeking a casual van driver to join our caring team.

You will ensure the safe transport of residents, provide friendly service, and uphold health and safety standards. A current NZ driver license is required, with support to obtain a P-endorsed license.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Bob Owens Retirement Village in Betlehem, Tauranga as a Casual Van Driver.

In this role you will:

• Ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of residents and others in the village van


• Provide a welcoming, helpful and friendly approach to all passengers ensuring all outings are an enjoyable experience.


• Have a strong focus on Health and safety including passenger safety, speed, road regulations and vehicle upkeep.


• Work closely with, and support your colleagues

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Strong empathy

• A reliable, friendly and professional manner


• Current, clean NZ Drivers Licence


• Current P-Endorsed License or the ability to gain one and we will support you to obtain this
